摘要
清康熙年间,画家禹之鼎为诗坛祭酒王士禛绘制肖像达12幅之多,创作时间延续27年,这在画家的艺术生涯中仅此一例。作者通过对这些图像的梳理,并结合文献、文物,揭示出禹氏为王士禛绘制大量肖像的原因,其一是王氏好尚"写真",并以肖像作为揄扬盛名的手段;其二是禹氏画艺超群,得到诸多文人的首肯。
As far as the reason is concerned that Artist Yu Zhiding completed as many as 12 portraits for nobody but Wang Shiqi,who was regarded as the Sage in poetry,in 27 years during Emperor Kangxi's(康熙) reign of the Qing dynasty,the analysis of the images,documents and relics unveils the details.On the one hand,Wang Shiqi enjoyed having his portraiture taken so as to be better known in the society.On the other hand,Yu Zhiding was acknowledged as an excellent artist among the scholars.
