The article introduces the background to revise JJG（Railway）130—2015 ＂Ultrasonic Flaw Detector for Rails＂ and specifies main changes in the new regulations,including metering performance requirements,main standard instrument and supporting equipment,number of verification channels,way to verify horizontal linearity error,measuring range of vertical linearity error,way to verify the blocking range,technical requirements and verification methods relating to the impact of inhibitory state on measurement results,metering performance requirements and verification methods relating to probe,metering performance requirements and verification methods as well as verification cycle,etc. relating to digital ultrasonic flaw detector for rails,stating the issues to be noted when carrying out the regulations.
