"唐河玉"是近几年新发现的透闪石质玉石,除了透闪石外,还含有一定量的碳酸盐杂质矿物,矿物颗粒细小,结构主要为纤维交织结构,呈油脂-蜡状光泽,通过与其他产地透闪石质玉的矿床特征、矿物成分、结构构造、宝石学特征等方面进行对比,发现其总体质量与韩国、广西大化、江苏溧阳、贵州罗甸透闪石玉相似,较新疆、青海透闪石玉稍差。"唐河玉"中因含有杂质矿物导致其质量参差不齐,其中含碳酸盐矿物>5%的应定为"透闪石化大理岩"或"透闪石质玉石(含碳酸盐矿物)",透闪石>95%即可直接称为"透闪石玉"。唐河籽料皮色鲜艳,有特征"水草花"状锰质氧化物,具有较高的工艺价值和利用前景。目前发现的"唐河玉"限于籽料、山流水,尚未发现原生矿,根据矿物组成及交代残余特征,推测其矿床成因与新疆透闪石相似,为岩浆热液与白云质大理岩接触交代型。
In recent years,a kind of nephrite from Tanghe has been discovered.The main mineral component of "Tanghe jade" tremolite,with some carbonate minerals.The tremolite grains in "Tanghe jade" are small and contain metasomatic residual carbonate phenocrysts,which are fiber-interwoven structure with disorderly arrangement,low hardness,insufficient luster,mostly waxy luster.Comparing the deposit features,mineral components,geological structure,and gemmological characteristics of "Tanghe jade" with other areas nephrite,"Tanghe jade's" overall quality is similar to nephrite from Korea,Jiangsu,Guangxi and Guizhou Luodian,while inferior to nephrite from Xinjiang and Qinghai.Due to containing impurity minerals,the quality of "Tanghe jade" uneven.When the carbonate mineral in "Tanghe jade" more than 5%,it should be designated as"tremolitization marble"or"tremolite jade (containing carbonate minerals)".Tremolite jade can be called"nephrite" directly,if the tremolite is more than 95%.As to "Tanghe jade" -pebble,it has a bright-coloured skinand a high craft value and utilization prospect,with the common "shuicaohua" feature caused by MnO.However,its primary deposit has not been found.According to Tanghe jade's mineral components and metasomatic residual characteristics,we speculated that the ores of"Tanghe jade"formed from contact metasomatism between dolomitic marble and magmatic hydrothermal fluids,which is similar to the tremolite deposit from Xinjiang.
