摘要
本文研究SNP时空(Einstein-Maxwell方程的某个具有平面对称度规和“半平面对称”电磁场的特解)的整体特性.时空中的奇异性其实只是一种坐标奇异性,通过引入适当的坐标系,我们消除了这一坐标奇异性,并进而找到了这个时空的最大开拓.这个时空共有7个killing矢量场,其中6个都是非类时的,只有一个在某一区域为类时.因此,这个区域就是这个最大时空中的稳态子时空.
The global properties of the SNP spacetime (a certain solution with a plane symmetric-metric and a 'semi-plane-symmetric' electromagnetic field to Einstein-Maxwell equations) are investigated. The singularity turns out to be simply a coordinate one. By introducing a suitable coordinate system this coordinate singularity is eliminated and a maximal extension is obtained. There are 7 Killing vector fields in the spacetime, 6 of them are non-timelike while one of them is timelike at some region, which is then a stationary sub-spacetime of the maximal SNP spacetime.
