摘要
美国学者苏西·坦娜鲍姆(Susie J.Tanenbaum)出版于1995年的著作《地下的和谐:纽约地铁中的音乐和政治》可视为学术界对城市地铁文化现象的首次关注。作者通过实地调查和政府管理政策文本研究,向我们展示了作为城市公共空间的地铁站中的音乐生态,并暗示出更广阔的社会现实。作者运用欧文·戈夫曼的互动理论来审视地铁音乐表演情境中不同角色的行为关系,并采用非价值中立的研究立场明确表达自己的观点。
In 1995 the American scholar Susie J. Tanenbaum published her book Underground Harmonies-Music and Politics in the Subways of New York. It was the first time that the municipal subway culture caught attention from the academic circle. The author shows the musical ecology inside public spaces such as the subway stations and fur ther implies broader social reality.
