摘要
从管理学科学属性的争议入手,面向管理学自身方法论的构建,认为以价值为核心概念来定义管理,可能为管理的研究发展开拓新的视角、方法和洞察力。从价值判断的线索,指出管理学与自然科学都是以价值发现与价值安排为本质内容的探索活动,管理学无须用自然科学方法去证明自己的"科学性"。管理科学对于自然科学方法的路径依赖,会导致管理科学本身的价值失守。管理学相对于自然科学,具有承担未来价值选择的重要责任。对于管理学特性与使命的研究,指出了探索并构建价值判断方法论作为管理学方法论核心的重要意义。
Starting with argumentation about the nature of management,from the perspective of construction of management methodology,this paper proposes that if value be defined as a core conceptinmanagement,new viewing angles,methods,and power of observation could be brought about for the research and development of management. On the basis of the clue of value judgment,both management science and natural science have their own explorative activities focusing on value discovery and value arrangement as theiressential components. Therefore,it is unnecessary to prove "management is science" by applying to natural science methodology. Management,if it relies on the path of natural science,may lose its territory of value. Accordingly,different from natural science,management should be responsible for value selection in the future. The study on the nature and mission of management indicates the significance in terms of construction of value judgment methodology as core of management methodology.
