摘要
在公共考古越来越受到重视的当下,美国加州大学洛杉矶分校的罗泰先生认为随着社会经济文化的迅猛发展,中国的考古学事业也得到飞速提升,特别是国际化的趋势越发显著。在此背景下,中国的公共考古可以从加强中小学师生的考古与遗产保护意识、充分展现考古学术问题论争等方面入手,在坚持学术原则的基础上,根据中国传统文化的具体情况并借鉴国际上的成功经验,走出具有自身特色的一条发展道路。
Nowadays public archaeology has been gaining increasing attention. According to Lothar von Falkenhausen, Professor at UCLA, in line with the country＇ s rapid growth in economy and culture, Chinese archaeology has been developing drastically with a prominent trend in internationalization. With that circum- stance in consideration, Prof. Falkenhausen suggests that it is important to strengthen the awareness of the students and teachers of primary and middle schools of archaeology and heritage protection and to create channels to show to the public the academic discussions and debates on archaeological issues. He believes with academic principals as the premise and taking Chinese traditional cultures and international references into account, Chinese archaeology is to have a development with its own characteristics.
