摘要
文章以目前所知中国大陆最早设立音乐课的宁波崇信义塾、安格妮丝·郭士立与宁波男童学校歌唱班、海伦·倪维思1850年代在宁波的音乐教学活动、宁波1856年刊行的曲谱赞美诗《赞神乐章》、1858年在宁波刊行的五线谱课本《圣山谐歌》为例,对五口通商后基督教新教传教士在宁波开设的音乐课及学校课外的音乐活动进行分析。旨在客观地审视传教士在中国学校音乐教育上所担当的角色。
In this paper, the author reviews music class and extracurricular musical activities which had been or- ganized by Christian missionaries after the Treaty of Five Ports Commercial Intercourse opened in Ningbo during 1850s. The author aimed to objectively evaluate the role of missionaries for music education in Chinese schools. The author took the musical activities of Agnes Gtitzlaff and Helen Nevius in the Ningbo Boy' s Academy/Boarding School during 1850s as examples, cases also including Hymns and Tunes Compiled in 1856 and Sing - san - yia -ko. Hymns set to Music in 1858.
