摘要
麦金太尔一生致力于道德哲学理论的研究,取得了重大的影响。他的美德伦理学以"美德"为核心概念,对当代西方道德哲学的合理性提出怀疑,并展开了对规范伦理学和道德情感主义的激烈批判,从而实现了伦理学在20世纪的一个转向。然而,麦金太尔的美德伦理学也不是完美无缺的,它不断遭到道德情境主义的挑战,麦金太尔教授为此不得不对美德存在的合理性予以回应,最终捍卫了美德伦理学的价值和功能。在当代中国社会,深刻领会和把握麦金太尔美德伦理学应有的、特定的价值,在道德教育中更加有效地以美德伦理思想为指导,使一代又一代人追求美好崇高的道德境界,我们的民族就会永远充满希望。
Mclntyre devoted his life to researches on the theory of moral philosophy, in which he has made a significant impact. McIntyre＇s virtue ethics doubts about the rationality of the contemporary western moral philosophy by taking ＂virtue＂ as the core of his theory, which expands fierce criticism to the moral feelings of among normative ethics and virtue ethics, so as to realize the ethics turn of the 20th century. Mclntyre＇s virtue ethics, however, are not perfect. It has been challenged so continuously by the moral situationism that Mclntyre therefore has to response the rationality of the existence of virtue, and eventu- ally defend the value and function of virtue ethics. In contemporary Chinese society, understanding and grasping the specific value of Mclntyre＇s virtue ethics, and taking virtue ethics as a guide in the moral edu cation will prompt the pursuit of fine and noble moral realm generation after generation, through which our nation will always be full of hope.
