摘要
文章聚焦当下新闻学的危机与变革,与多位学者展开思想对话。文章认为,技术对于社会的影响,是否会成为在政治、经济和文化之外的第四维度,仍待观察;目前的新闻学研究较少问题意识和历时性视角,应更多地关注语言学、新政治史、新社会史和新文化史以及计量史学等新的研究动向;对于新闻专业主义理念,既要看到它在推动中国新闻业成为社会公器的过程中所起的积极作用,同时,也应该看到它存在的历史局限。
Focusing on the crisis and innovation of journalism at present, the paper has some dialogues with scholars＇ opinions. The paper argues whether the influence of technology will become the fourth power besides politics, economy and culture or not, which remain to be seen. Lacking the historical perspective and problem consciousness, studies of journalism should more concern about the linguistics, the new political history, the new cultural history, the new sociological history as well as quantitative history. The paper thinks that it should not only hold a positive attitude to the influence of professional journalism, but also see its historical limitation.
