摘要 基质金属蛋白酶9(MMP-9)是依赖锌离子的内源性蛋白酶家族,又称明胶酶B,主要功能是降解和重构细胞外基质,其参与了人体许多生理及病理过程。近年来研究发现,糖尿病及其慢性并发症不只是与血管内皮损伤、氧化应激、细胞因子有关,而且与MMP-9也有关。MMP-9参与了糖尿病、糖尿病肾病、糖尿病视网膜病变、动脉硬化等的发生、发展,在糖尿病防治领域有广阔的应用前景。 Matrix metaltoproteinases-9 (MMP-9) belongs to endogenous protease family dependent on zinc ions ,also known as gelatin enzyme-B. Its main function is degradation and remolding of the extraeellular matrix, which participates in many physiological and pathological processes of human body. Recent studies found that diabetes and its chronic complications are not only associated with vascular endothelial injury, oxidative stress and cytokines, but also with MMP-9. More and more studies show that MMP-9 participates in the occurrence and development of diabetes, diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macrevasculopathy, therefore MMP-9 has bread prospects in the prevention and treatment of diabetes.
