摘要
战争已远离国人生活,但战争词语依然活跃在人们的日常语言中。战争隐喻的广泛使用表明战争域是人类认知客观世界的基本方式之一。战争域的特性在隐喻过程中系统地映射到社会其他域中,使战争隐喻表达生死攸关或具有对抗性的重大问题。战争隐喻的广泛性有着哲学基础、现实基础和理论基础。战争隐喻突显了现代社会问题的竞争性和对抗性的同时,还有遮蔽和强加功能。如果只关注事物的战争属性可能造成认识的片面性。因此,全面考察战争隐喻的突显性、遮蔽性和强加性才可能客观地认识问题的本质。
Though war is far away from our life,war expressions are still active in everyday language.The universality of war metaphors proves that war domain is one of the basic ways of understanding the world.In the metaphorical process,the features of war domain are mapped onto other societal domains;thus war metaphors are often used to elaborate life-or-death problems or crucial problems of violent competition.The universality of war metaphors has the philosophical,realistic and theoretical foundation.While giving prominence to rivalrousness and hostility,war metaphors also have the hiding and imposing function.Therefore,the comprehensive understanding of the highlighting,hiding and imposing features of war metaphors may approach the truth of modern problems.
