摘要
[目的 /意义]Pro Quest公司于2010年推出新一代国际联机检索平台Pro Quest Dialog,原有的Dialog Classic、DialogWeb、Dialog Select等平台已于2013年11月终止使用。介绍新平台的功能特点有助于用户尽快熟悉并利用。[方法 /过程]结合实例,通过与旧平台的对比,介绍新平台在运算符、检索方式、计费方式、检索结果的输出等方面的变化。[结果 /结论]新平台的计费方式大大降低使用者的压力,检索结果的可视化功能方便用户在线调整检索式。这一直观、友好、汉化的数据库检索新平台必将得到更广泛的应用。
[Purpose/significance] ProQuest released a new international online retrieval platform named ProQuest Dialog in 2010, and original platforms of DialogClassic, DialogWeb, DialogSelect has been stopped using in November 2013. Introducing functional characteristics of new platform is helpful to know and use it as soon as possible. [Method/process] The paper takes examples to e- laborate changes of new platform in operators, retrieval modes ,charging method and other aspects through comparative analysis with old platform. [Result/conclusion] Charging method of new platform greatly reduces user＇s pressure, and visualization function of search results makes it easy for users to adjust retrieval type online. This new intuitive, user-friendly and ehinesization database retrieval plat- form will be applied more widely.
