摘要
日军入侵给市政建设初具现代化的桂林以毁灭性打击,全城房屋、工业、交通、城市基础设施等几乎毁灭殆尽,人民生命财产损失巨大。战后为重建桂林城,国民政府及桂林市府曾对桂林的未来发展做了规划,并实施了一些举措;但因战争破坏严重、连年灾荒、内战干扰和市政建设所需的人力物力财力的限制,战后桂林市政重建事业步履维艰,喜忧参半。
The invasion of Japanese army completely destroyed Guilin municipal construction with town houses, industry, transportation and urban infrastructure. After the war, the national government of Guilin made planning for the future development and implemented some measures to rebuild the city.Post-war reconstruction of Guilin municipal enterprise walked with difficulty because of destruction of the war severely disturbed, years of famine, civil war and the limitation of the manpower and financial resources needed for the municipal construction.
