大江健三郎的小说中常出现"鸟":普通的"鸟"、抽象的"鸟"、人名"鸟"、小说"鸟"。这些"鸟"的形象都包含了某种寓意,但迄今为止,还没有得到合理的解释。按时间顺序考察作品及作家的有关话语,可以得出这样的结论:"鸟"是用来指代人的,尤其指爱逃避现实的青年人;各作品间"鸟"的形象有一定的衔接性,而且寓意层层深入;这些"鸟"在矛盾冲突中由弱变强,由逃避变为面对;他们走出人生低谷的力量源泉在于点燃生命之火。
Birds often appear in KenzaburoOe's novels: ordinary bird, abstract bird, characters named after birds and novels having "birds" in their titles. The image of these birds conveys a certain implication, for which nobody has yet provided a reasonable explanation. Analyzing the related discourses of the author and his works according to the time sequence, the present author draws such a conclusion: the bird is used to refer to people, especially the youth who tend to escape from reality. There is a certain cohesion in the image of birds among his works. In the conflict, these "birds" grow stronger and learn to confront reality, by which the flame of their lives is lit to uplift them from their lows.
