摘要
潘天祯,版本目录学家,其一生为我国古籍整理和保护事业做出了重要贡献,目前尚未见研究其生平、著述与贡献的专文。文章对其早年求学与从事图书馆职业的相关史实进行了梳理,对其在古籍保护事业上的贡献进行了概括,如担任《中国古籍善本书目》副主编,倡议编辑《中国古籍现存书目》,致力于古籍的收藏、保存和利用等。在个人著述方面,潘天祯参与了古籍研究领域内一些悬而未决的问题的讨论,如'明代无锡会通馆印书是否是锡活字本'等,并积极推动对汲古阁藏书的研究,也指出了前人研究中的不足,其严谨的学术态度给后人以深刻的印象。参考文献48。
Pan Tianzhen,a textual bibliographer,has made important contributions to the preservation and conservation of rare books in China throughout his life;however,no articles have been seen about his life story,writings and contributions.This paper sorts out the historical facts related to his early study and library career,and summarizes his contributions to the preservation and conservation of rare books,such as serving as the deputy chief editor of Chinese Ancient Rare Booklist,proposing to compile the Existing Bibliography of Rare Books of China,and devoting himself to the collection,preservation and utilization of rare books.In terms of his personal writings,Pan Tianzhen participated in the discussion of some pending issues in the field of rare books research,such as'Books Wuxi Hui Tong Guan printed in the Ming dynasty were of tin movable type version or not',and actively promoted the research on the JiGuGe collections,also pointed out the shortcomings of previous studies,and his rigorous academic attitude left a deep impression on later generations.48 refs.
