摘要
严复没有直接参与戊戌变法,却能与洪秀全、康有为、孙中山并列,被毛泽东称为代表中国共产党出世以前向西方寻找真理的一派人物,文章对其中的原因作了初步分析。
YAN Fu did not take part in Hundred Days＇ Reform,but he was taken by MAO Ze- dong,as one of the truth searchers who resort to the Western theories,the same as HONG Xiu- quan,KANG You- wei,and SUN Yat- sen. The primary analysis is made in search of the reasons.
