摘要
茅盾的《创造》塑造了从封建伦理中觉醒、获得思想独立的"新女性"形象。从文本中看,促成"新女性"思想蜕变的原因来源并不明确,她们的思想具有极大的可塑性;"新女性"比传统女性进步,但她们的行为缺乏目的性,往往只是追求强烈的刺激,因而她们对事物的分析仅停留在表层;她们追求独立与自由,却无法摆脱市民阶级骄奢的生活习性。思想蜕变原因的不明确、行为缺乏目的性、自身阶级的局限性,造成了"新女性"无法建立自身主体性的局限。
Mao Dun's short story Creation presents some figures of New Women who have been awaken from feudal ethics and become independently-minded. From the text,the causes for these women's change are not clear, consequently the thoughts of New Women are variable and they themselves have unavoidable limitations. Compared with traditional women, New Women are more progressive in thought, but their behaviors oftentimes fall short of objectives. They often only pursue physical bliss, thus when approaching the society they only stop before the surface. They are seeking an independent and free way of life, yet they can't get away from the luxurious habitus of the bourgeoisie,so they are unable to obtain a harmonious family life. All of these result in their incapability to establish their own subjectivity
