摘要
全球性的经济危机对世界各国高等教育的改革与发展都产生了深刻的影响。在政府减少对高等教育拨款的情况下,英美两国都根据各国国情采取了积极的措施,拓宽高等教育的筹资渠道,应对财政危机的挑战。这些卓有成效的举措,既缓解了英美高等教育财政困境,又拓宽了高等教育的财政来源,维持了其世界一流大学的地位。比较英美高等教育应对财政危机的异同,对我国高等教育依据国情办学与治理提供了借鉴与启示。
Global financial crisis has a profound impact on the reformation and development of higher education in countries around the world. In the case of less government funding on higher education, both Britain and the United States have taken positive measures according to their national circumstances, and have widened the financial channels for higher education in response to the challenges of the financial crisis. These effective measures have not only alleviated the Britain and the United States financial dilem-ma of higher education, but also expanded the sources of higher education finance and maintained their status as world-class higher ed-ucation. Comparing the similarities and differences between British and American higher education in response to the financial crisis can provide a reference and inspiration to Chinese higher education which based on national conditions.
