The gold crown decor and pendants from Lichui's tomb demonstrate the degree of complex craftsmanship that has not been identified before. Synthesizing archaeological data with textual records, this article suggests that the crown decor might be the so-called 'qingjinguan ' (light gold crown decor) reconded in historial documents. Meanwhile, the pend- ants might be the decorations on both sides of waist attaching to the lower dress. Furthermore, the miniature might be an imi- taton of contemporary gold objects and were used as burial goods.
