摘要
该区属特提斯成矿域中南半岛成矿带,是印度尼西亚金储量最为丰富的金多金属矿成矿带。申请区位于中南半岛成矿带的东南段,是纲瓦纳大陆分离北移部分,在古生代末及中新生代初遭受多期次构造-岩浆作用的叠加改造。该成矿带主要矿产有金、银、铅锌、钾盐等。该区是东西向的班达亚岩浆弧一部分,区域构造总体上形成NE-SW向和NW-SE向断裂控制的菱形网格状构造形迹。从新近纪到渐新世晚期持续发生岩浆的侵入及火山喷发活动,区域性断裂极其派生的次级构造为金多金属矿形成提供了有利的条件。该区属特提斯成矿域中南半岛成矿带,是印度尼西亚金储量最为丰富的金多金属矿成矿带之一。龙目岛西部金矿选区位于印度尼西亚金资源储量最多的金多金属成矿带上。通过对前人地质资料的综合研究和分析,并到实地踏勘研究认为,该区成矿条件优越,以金矿化为主。该区是寻找构造蚀变岩型金矿的最有利部位。
