摘要
《道咸以來朝野雜記》的作者崇彝(1884—1951)於晚清掌故極熟。他晚年與鄧之誠多所往還,抗戰期間,尤爲密切。鄧曾命研究生許大齡、王鍾翰等向崇彝請教。鄧還與他討論過此書的體例、門類,甚至直接潤色行文。抗戰勝利後,崇彝生活日漸窘迫,幾至售書度日,鄧曾居中介紹。解放後,爲紓崇彝生活之困,鄧曾多方説項,以期使他能進入文史館,但崇彝終於未能等到這一天。
Chongyi(1884 1951),the author of Daoxian Yilai Chaoye Zaji(《道咸以來朝野雜記》),was very familiar with the late Qing Dynasty historical anecdotes. In his later years,he got along with Deng Zhicheng frequently. Deng discussed with him about this book's frame and helped him with his articles. After 1945,Chongyi's condition became harder and worse,and Deng also gave him a lot of help during that time.
