摘要
谶纬是兴盛于我国汉代、流行于魏晋南北朝的一种学术思潮。谶纬又称图谶、图纬等,它既有文字表述,又有图像显示。从最早的图谶及《河图》,东汉武梁祠石像中的祥瑞图像和榜题文字,到形成于北宋《推背图》的图像、谶文、颂词的结合,谶纬的叙事形式是一种图像文本。谶纬的图像文本,其叙事表达充分利用了语言文字和图像画面的特点,从而使其增加了神秘感和趣味性,也更加便于广为流传。谶纬的图像文本的形成,既由谶的"纤微"、"隐语"的特点所决定,同时,它又有中国传统文化的意蕴。
The Divine-Prophecy, referring to divination by augury and mystical interpretation of Confucian texts, is an academic trend thriving in the Han Dynasty (202BC - 220) , and gets prevalent in the Six Dynasties (220 -589). It is also termed as the "Book of Prophecy" , with both textual and image expressions. The Divine-Prophecy is, in nature, an image text, which starts from the earliest Book of Prophecy, the Magic Square and the auspicious images and texts on the stone carving murals of the Wu-liang ancestral hall (in the Eastern Dynasty), and develops into Tui-bei Figures (in the Northern Song Dynasty), a combination of images, texts, prophecies and eulogies. Owing to fully exploits the narrative features of both the language and figures, the image text of the Divine-Prophecy is endowed with mystery and enchantment, making it easier to get widely spread. The formation of the Divine-Prophecy with image text, on the one hand, is shaped by such characteristics of auguries as being " minute" and " obscure", and possesses, on the other hand, rich connotations of the Chinese traditional culture.
