摘要
《聊斋志异》以其深刻的思想内容和高度的艺术成就成为经久不衰的名著。与蒲松龄处于同时代的王士祯是清初极享盛名的作家,他在《池北偶谈》里写了一些同《聊斋志异》一样甚至连题目都相同的作品,但艺术效果却迥然不同。《聊斋志异》之所以比《池北偶谈》写得真实可信和形象生动,是跟作者体验与了解生活的深度分不开的。生活和思想决定艺术技巧,缺乏艺术技巧的作品,不管思想内容怎样好也不会产生艺术效果。
Collection of Bizarre Stories by Pu Songling had become an ever-lasting masterwork for its deep ideological contents and high artistic achievements. Wang Shi-zhen,who lived in the contemporary stage with Pu Songling,was a very famous writer in the early Qing Dynasty,he wrote some works which were the same as those in Collection of Bizarre Stories,even carried the same titles,but the artistic conceptions were immensely different. By comparing the two works,we can differ one from the other. The genuineness and vividness in Pu Songling's works was inseparable from his life experiences. This is because artistry comies from the depth of writers' world outlook and width of life phenomenon. Life and thought determine artistry,artistic effect can't be realized without artistry,no matter how good the contents are.
