摘要 语篇是由众多不同层级的语义单位相互联系而组成的一个大的语义整体单位。立足语篇整体,对篇章进行语篇模式分析,有助于读者把握文章整体组织脉络,理顺语篇不同成分之间的关系,获取重要信息和中心思想,从而达到有效阅读的目的。本文首先对语篇分析的相关理论做了简要介绍,从理论上阐释了语篇模式分析对于篇章理解的重要价值和指导意义;然后以一个说明性语篇为例,从篇章结构特征和小句关系两个层面进行了具体的语义分析和解读。在此基础上,文章还初步探讨了语篇模式理论对大学英语阅读教学的启示。 According to text linguistics, text is a big whole unit composed of small correlative semantic units of different layers. Text pattern analysis that regards the target text as a whole is of great use to reading comprehension, as it can help the reader grasp the macro - structure, understand the logic - semantic relations between sentences and between paragraphs, and recognize important details and the theme of the text. To begin with, this paper introduces briefly three text - analysis theories, namely, macro - structure theory, clause relation theory, and textual pattern theory, which prove in theory the significance of text pattern analysis to reading comprehension. Then, as an example, it makes a detailed analysis of an English text in terms of its macro - structure and clause relations. Finally, application of textual pattern theory to college English teaching of reading is discussed.
