摘要
文章从外贸新形势视角,提出了全球价值链嵌入深化、环境规制加强及劳工成本攀升等新因素影响中国出口国内技术复杂度的理论假设。借鉴Hausmann et a1.(2007)和姚洋、张雄(2008)的方法,文章测算了2002-2012年剧除了进口中间投入品技术含量后的中国工业行业出口国内技术复杂度,并采用系统GMM方法进行了实证检验。研究发现:实证结果支持全球价值链嵌入对中国出口国内技术复杂度的倒U型影响假说以及环境规制的促进作用,但劳工成本的提升作用并没有得到与理论假设相符的结论;此外,资本、外资及制度因素也均能显著提升出口技术复杂度,而研发却一定程度上阻碍出口技术复杂度的提高。
From the point of the new situation of trade, this paper puts forwards the theoretical hypothesis of the new influential factors of China's export domestic sophistication such as the deepening of global value chain embeddedness, the strengthening of environme- ntal regulation and the rising of labor costs. Based on the methods given by Hausmann et al (2007) and Yao Yang & Zhang Ye (2008), it calculates Chinese industrial sectors' export domestic sophistication that has eliminated the technology contents of imported inputs, and conducts an empirical test by using system GMM method. It finds that the empirical results support an inverted U-shaped relationship between global value chain embeddedness and export domestic sophistication, and also support the promoting effect of environmental regulation, but the labor costs' raising role is not consistent with the theoretical hypothesis. Besides, capital, foreign capital and institution quality can also have a significant boosting effect on the export domestic sophistication, but R&D restricts it to some extent.
