摘要
自主学习能力是英语学习取得进步和进行终生学习的关键。大学生英语自主学习能力包含了学习动机、学习策略和元认知策略三个主要方面。本研究对大学新生的英语自主学习能力进行了调查。调查结果表明:1大学生已初步具备自主学习意识,自主水平总体不高;2大学生能够使用基本的元认知策略,但元认知水平参差不齐;3工具型动机导致学生课堂内外自主行为差异较大,课外规划与投入严重匮乏。针对这种现状,大学英语课堂教学可对学生进行相应的指导和训练,以提高学生的英语自主学习能力。
Autonomous learning ability is the key to successful English learning and life-long learning.The learning autonomy of college students mainly lies in three aspects such as motivation, learning strategies and metacognitive strategies.This research investigates the autonomous learning ability of college freshmen.The results indicate that freshmen have basic awareness of autonomous learning, but with a low level on the whole ; Students can use the basic metacognitive strategies, but with different levels ; Students ' instrumental motivation results in the significant differences between inside class behavior and outside class behavior, with inadequate planning and dedication outside of class.Thus, to improve learning autonomy, college English teaching needs to carry out corresponding instructions for students.
