摘要
1958年6月,作家出版社出版了艾芜精心创作的长篇小说《百炼成钢》,该作很快就被翻译、节选、重印、再版等。《百炼成钢》费时8年而成,期间几易其稿,可谓创作颇艰,可以说,该作是钩沉艾芜建国初期的创作心态与现实情怀的重要作品之一。因为时过境迁,在1982年9月,艾芜竟然"一定要修改"原著,毫无疑问其"修改"背后的原因值得深入探讨。论文试图从艾芜对《百炼成钢》第十三章的"删改"入手,简要地爬梳前后两个不同版本的"异同",并比较前后版本变迁所反映出的作家创作心境与现实情怀。
In June 1958, Writers Publishing House published Ai Qing＇ s well - wrought novel The Making of New Socialist Builders which was soon translated, abridged, reprinted and republished. The writing of the novel las- ted for eight years during which its draft was made several times, hence a formidable mission; and the novel can be said to be one of the key works to represent Ai Qing＇ s creation psychology and realistic feelings in the early years of New China. With the passage of time, in September 1982, Ai Qing was unexpectedly ＂resolved to revise＂ the no- vel, thus the very cause for which is virtually worthy of discussion. Starting with the ＂revision＂ of Chapter 13 in the novel, this paper aims to briefly systematize the ＂similarities and differences＂ of the two diverse editions as well as to compare the writer＇s creation psychology and realistic feelings evidenced by changes in the two editions.
