Objective This paper investigates the impact of early intervention of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) on pregnancy outcomes. Methods 70 pregnant women who came to our hospital during January 2014-2015 in June were selected as the research object. In the observation group, 35 cases of pregnant women in the early pregnancy that is receiving systemic examination, the diagnosis of GDM after taking intervention measures for treatment, 35 cases of pregnant women were set as the control group, all of them received any systematic prenatal examination, until the late pregnancy was diagnosed as GDM, did not give any treatment. The pregnancy outcome of two groups was compared. Results The pregnant outcome of the observation group was significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05);the incidence of neonatal complications was significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P〈0.05) in the two groups. Conclusion Early screening and timely intervention in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus, for improving the pregnancy outcome of GDM pregnant women has a significant role to improve the pregnancy outcome and reduce the incidence of maternal and infant complications, which can protect the safety of mother and baby.
