摘要 人类已迈入城市纪元,城市的发展决定人类的将来。在众多城市发展类型中,可持续城市是相对较新但极具活力的概念。在对可持续城市的探索中,首要解决的问题之一就是如何定义和评价可持续城市。该文基于可持续性科学,梳理具有代表性的可持续城市定义,比较当今全球广泛使用的十个单一聚合性指数,进而探讨何为可持续城市以及其具有哪些特征。通过文字云技术直观显示,当前对可持续城市的研究已从资源利用、环境保护延伸到社会服务、人类福祉等方面。可持续性指标的不同组合及在不同时间尺度的合理使用,将有助于可持续城市概念在实际城市建设中变为现实。 The world has entered the urban millennium. The future of humanity hinges on the future of our cities. Among various kinds of urban development models, sustainable city is a relatively new but increasingly popular concept. Before we can develop sustainable cities, the most important issue is to define what a sustainable city. Starting with key definitions of sustainable city, we compare ten widely used single aggregated indices. 1-hen we discuss the definition and characteristics of urban sustainability. A word cloud analysis shows that the study on urban sustainability which initially focuses on resource use and environmental protection has changed to the relationship between ecosystem services and human wellbeing. The combination of diverse sustainability indices and their rational usage at specific temporal-spatial scales will contribute to the realization of sustainable city.
