Basic Characteristics and Analysis of Xiaochatou Landslide in the Reservoir Area

摘要 作为库区重点研究的滑坡之一,在地质测绘、钻探及物理勘探等大量勘察资料基础上,全面阐述了小汊头滑坡的地质背景、形成条件及变形模式,评价了滑坡整体及前缘次滑体在蓄水前后各种工况下的稳定性,初步分析了滑坡失稳产生涌浪的影响程度及堰塞体溃坝对施工围堰的危害性。 The Xiaochatou Landslide, which is the investigation focus of all potential slope instabilities within the reservoir are- a, was extensively evaluated. The site specific geological conditions, landslide formation mechanism and the deformation char- acteristics are investigated based on the geological survey, field test boring program as well as geophysical testing. The per- formance of the potential slide body and the front portion of the sliding portion are analyzed before and after the full pool condi- tions. The impact of the wave action induced by the slope instability and the temporary dam failure on the cofferdam during the construction are also evaluated.
