New York City's Central Park(1858-1878), National Mall in Washington(1871-1943) and Chicago Millennium Park(1997-2004) were built in three different centuries in turn as typical representative of urban open space in each period. They have similarities creating elements and features, which mainly include the ecological landscape constructions, functional service facilities, safe space feelings and the patency of the external traffic. All design and construction always reflect the care to people.
