摘要
本文针对科技期刊文章关于"下降"的使用错误较多的问题,分析了产生错误的原因:"下降超过一倍"是在计算时分母的选择有误,而且在对实际问题的阐述中,"下降"不宜与"倍"搭配使用;应根据具体情况判别是否可以"下降超过100%",确保"下降超过100%"符合实际情况;"下降了……"表示下降的量的大小,"下降至……"表示下降后达到的量的大小,在这两种说法后面接数据或者比例时应注意区分。建议作者和编辑应注意"下降"的用法,以使"下降"的使用能正确表达文章的中心思想。
According to so much errors of the usage of ＂descend＂ in the article of science and technology periodicals, the reasons of the errors were analyzed. The selection of denominator was wrong in calculation for ＂descend over one time＂. And in the declaration of the practical problems, ＂descend＂ was not suitable for collocation use with ＂times＂. The author should judge whether or not can ＂descend by more than 100%＂ based on the specific situation,make sure that ＂descend by more than 100%＂ was in line with the actual situation. ＂Descend by...＂ indicated the amount descended, ＂descend by...＂ indicated the amount after descending.The author should pay more attention to distinguish when the two arguments were followed by data or ratio. We suggest that the authors and editors should pay more attention to the use of ＂descend＂, to make sure the usage of ＂descend＂ would correctly express the thoughts of the article.
