摘要
针对目前的海上通信受宽带和费用的限制,只局限于收发邮件、卫星电话、传真等的应用情况进行了IPSTAR可行性研究。结合自动波束切换技术,提出了基于IPSTAR卫星通信的海上卫星宽带系统。该系统对改善和加强海上安全指挥通信能力、加强海上应急抢险救助能力,提高海上运输管理水平具有重要意义。
With the aim of achieving broadband communication in marine environment, where the normal communication means either cost too much or provide too low bandwidth, the feasibility of IPSTAR for marine communication is investigated. The marine communications scheme with IPSTAR satellite service and the automatic beam switching （ABS） is proposed. The scheme may be used for marine safety management and fleet management.
