摘要
屋顶是中国古代最富有艺术魅力的组成部分之一,它上面的各种装饰有着玄妙和深刻的文化意义。屋顶正脊是屋顶上两坡之间相搭合之处,"鸱尾"即正脊两端头的装饰物。它的确切形象至迟在晋代就已经出现,隋唐时期得到广泛使用。本文从鸱尾形式演变的角度概述中国建筑文化中的一种现象和意义。
The roof is one of the most charming part of the ancient Chinese Building. The significance of the architectural ornament is mysterious and profound. Chi Wei is the ornament on the both end of the main ridge, that is the combination of the two slopes of the roof. Its exact form appeared at least in Jin Dynasty, and until Sui and Tang Dynasty was be widely used. Following the analysis of the evolution of Chi Wei for its form and history, this article summarizes a meaningful phenomenon of Chinese architectural culture.
