摘要
莱布尼茨在《人类理智新论》中对人类本能与"道德科学"的关系提出了独到的见解,认识到人类本能对普遍道德原则之确立的重要性。而在中国古代哲学家中,孟子同样也在人类本能中找到了通往道德彼岸的门径。这种对人类本能的关注,使二人的道德学说呈现了某种程度上的相似性;但中西文化、尤其是中西哲学的巨大思想差异又使二人的道德学说朝向不同的方向发展,为我们提供了建构人类普遍道德原则的两种不同思路。
In the New Essays on Human Understanding,Leibniz put forward an original opinion on the relationship between human's instinct and moral science that had recognized the importance of human instinct to the establishment of universal moral principles. And in ancient Chinese philosophers,Mencius also found the way to the morality from the human instinct. The same concern on the human's instinct made the two moral theories alike to some extent. However,the great difference between Chinese and Western culture,especially in the thought of philosophy,droved the moral theories of the two people towards different directions,which provided us two distinctive ideas to establish the universal moral principles of mankind.
