摘要
耦合同位素(Clumped isotope),是新兴的同位素地球化学方法。该方法从同位素互相结合程度的角度研究"同位素体"的地球化学行为,获得了传统同位素总体组成研究无法提供的新信息,目前已经在测定碳酸盐形成温度等领域展示了广阔的发展前景。本文简要介绍了耦合同位素地球化学的基本原理、测试方法、应用范围及存在问题,展望了其发展趋势,讨论了其发展中需注重的问题。
Clumped isotope is a frontier in isotope geochemistry. It studies the degree to which isotopes bond with each other to form particular isotopologues, thus providing additional important information other than traditional isotope geochemistry. The application of clumped isotope to several fields has already shown promising prospects. The most successful application so far is to determinate the temperature during carbonate mineralization or precipitation using clumped isotope as a thermometer. Here we present and discuss recent progresses in principles, analytical methods, applications and future challenges of clumped isotope geochemistry.
