The condition of harbor construction in southern Africa is favorable because of the advantageous geographical location. We introduced the general situation of development and current marketing situation of the marine works in Southern Africa, analyzed the marketing development tendency in accordance with the GDP data and the value of import and export in recent years, and summarized some issues should be paid attention in project contracting of the region according to the practical experience.
