摘要
目的分析总结2010至2014年《中国妇幼健康研究》杂志发表论文英文题名中的语法语意错失现象,为提高英文题名书写质量提供参考。方法从2010至2014年每期杂志发表的论文中随机抽取10条英文题名,共计300条。分别由1位医学期刊英文编辑和1位高校英语教师对各题名进行分析。结果英文题名在语意和结构上与中文题名保持一致,但个别题名在语法、用词、书写格式等方面存在不恰当或错误现象。错误率随着年份的增加逐渐减少,题名质量逐步提高。结论加强英文文献学习,巩固英语基础知识并分析稿约要求,有助于作者撰写出更高质量的英文题名。
Objective To analyze the grammatical and writing mistakes in English titles of articles published in Chinese Journal of Woman and Child Health Research in 2010-2014.Methods Ten English titles were randomly selected from each volume of the journal in last five years, and there were 300 in total.An English editor and a college teacher of English analyzed the titles individually.Results English titles were in accordance with Chinese ones in structure and meaning, but there were some English titles with grammatical, vocabulary and writing mistakes.Diachronically, the mistakes reduced and the quality of English titles was improved gradually.Conclusion Strengthening English literature and basic knowledge learning and analyzing the requirement of notice to contributors are helpful to authors in writing high-qualified English titles.
