摘要
通过乳液聚合,以正十二硫醇作链转移剂,采用氧化-还原引发体系,使甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯(GMA)、甲基丙烯酸甲酯和苯乙烯单体进行自由基共聚合,获得数均分子量为5.4×10~3,相对分子质量分布约为3.0,环氧值为0.003 80 mol/g的GMA-MMA-St三元共聚物。分析发现:所制三元共聚物在1 255 cm^(-1)处出现环氧基的对称振动吸收峰以及在848,909 cm^(-1)处出现两个环氧基的不对称振动吸收峰;1 620~1 680 cm^(-1)无吸收峰,说明三元共聚物中无C=C,GMA上的环氧基基本上未开环参与反应。乳液聚合较完全,未反应单体主要是少量苯乙烯。
A kind of terpolymer of glycidyl methacrylate(GMA),methyl methacrylate and styrene was synthesized by radical emulsion copolymerization with redox initiation system and N-dodecyl mercaptan as a chain transfer agent.The terpolymer prepared had number average molecular mass of 5.4×10^3,relative molecular mass distribution of 3.0 and epoxy value of 0.003 80 mol/g.It was found that there were a symmetrical absorption peak of epoxy group at 1 255 cm^-1 and two asymmetrical absorption peaks of epoxy group at 848,909 cm^-1,which demonstrated the existence of epoxy group.No absorption peak of hydroxyl group was observed at 1620-1680 cm^-1,indicating that double-bond did not exist in the terpolymer and consequently the epoxy group rings in GMA were not opened.The reaction proceeded rather completely and unreacted monomer was mainly small amount of styrene.
