传统的普鲁斯特研究大多从"时间"维度对小说《追忆似水年华》进行各种探讨,乔治·普莱的著作《普鲁斯特的空间》以独特的"空间美学"视角、用现象学批评方法对普鲁斯特小说"空间记忆并置"的心理现象作了新颖独到的深刻分析。此书对普鲁斯特小说研究、对中国学界当前方兴未艾的空间美学研究,都有很好的示例与启发意义。
Previous studies on Proust mainly explored his novel In Search of Lost Time from the dimension of time. Nonetheless, Georges Poulet takes a phenomenological approach in his book Proust＇s Space from a unique dimension of spatial aesthetics. Along such a vein, Poulet conducts an innovative and pioneering analysis on the psychological cases from juxtaposed memories in space in Proust＇s novels. This book can serve as a significant demonstration for similar studies. It can also inspire studies on Proust＇s novels and the newly emerged studies of spatial aesthetics in China＇s academic context.
