摘要
北京郭守敬纪念馆位于西海北岸,1988年建成并向社会开放。纪念馆于2008年完成增加展厅、重新布展、景观改造后重新开放。作为首都市内集纪念先贤、普及知识、游览观光功能合一的文化场所,北京郭守敬纪念馆以丰富的展陈内容、先进的展示手段、优美的景观环境接待公众来馆学习参观,在弘扬爱国主义、提倡创新精神、传播科学文化、促进文明建设方面发挥着自身作用。
Beijing Guo Shoujing Memorial, located on the north bank of Xihai Lake, was completed and opened to the society in 1988. The memorial was reopened in 2008 after the increase of exhibition halls, the change of exhibitions and landscape trans- formation. As a cultural site integrating the functions of com- memorating the wise man, popularizing knowledge and sightsee- ing in the capital, Beijing Guo Shoujing Memorial are welcoming the public with its rich exhibitions, advanced means of exhibition, and beautiful environment. It plays an important role in high- lighting patriotism, advocating innovative spirit, spreading sci- ence and culture, and promoting cultural construction.
