Effects of carbomer resin as an additive on cathode for lithium ion batteries

摘要 黏结剂是锂离子电池正负极的重要组成部分,对电池性能有着直接的影响。主要考察卡波姆树脂作为添加剂用于锂离子电池正极中对浆料黏附性、电池的极化、界面阻抗和循环性能等方面的影响。研究结果表明,卡波姆树脂用于锂离子电池正极中,极片的剥离强度增大,电池的极化变小,电解液/电极表面钝化膜和双电层的阻抗明显降低,电池的循环性能得到提高。 Binder is an important part of electrodes of lithium ion batteries. It has a direct impact on batteries performance to select the appropriate binder. The impact of carbomer resin as the additives used for lithium ion battery anode on the adhesion of slurry, polarization of the batteries, impedance of interface and cycle performance was investigated. The results show that the peel strength of the cathode is larger; the polarization of the battery is lower; the impedance of the passivation membrane of electrolyte/electrode and electric double layer significantly decreases; the cycle performance of the battery improves.
