摘要
语言与文化密不可分,但中学英语教学对文化导入关注不够。本研究运用文献资料法、教育调查法、教育观察法、产品分析法、教育实践法、对比研究法等研究方法探寻了文化导入的意义、目标、现状、内容、方法和原则,指出从语言的本质特征、语言交际的要素、英语课程目标来看,教授英语文化是中学英语教学的目标任务之一,但教师在文化导入中还存在认识模糊、跨文化敏感性较低、有准备的导入较少、开发的材料缺乏等问题。文章建议文化导入可采用文化旁白、文化渗透、文化对比等方法,遵循融合、体验、渐进、适度等原则。
Language and culture are inseparable, but little attention is paid to cultural introduction in middle school English teaching. This research explores the significance, goals, status, contents, approaches and principles of cultural introduction in English teaching, by employing various research methods including literature consultation, educational investigation, educational observation, product analysis, educational practice, and comparative study. The research indicates that viewing from essential features of language, elements of language communication, and objectives of English curriculum, introducing English culture is one of the goals of middle school English teaching. However, in cultural introduction, teachers often lack clear understanding, intercultural sensitivity, prepared introduction or developed materials. This paper suggests teachers adopt different approaches like culture aside, culture infiltration, culture comparison, etc., and follow the principles of integration, experience, gradualness, moderation.
