摘要
重庆是典型的多中心、组团式城市发展结构，目前正处于城市迅速扩展的时期，随着城市化深入，交通问题日益突出。美国洛杉矶城市形态与重庆市颇为相似，其交通状况也令人堪忧，研究洛杉矶城市形态与交通发展关系、公共交通发展历程、机动化与交通拥堵的关系、交通政策、交通规划等，可为重庆市的交通发展提供前车之鉴，发挥后发优势。
Chongqing is a typical multicenter, author structure of urban development. In the period of rapid expansion of city, with the urbanization traffic problem is increasingly outstanding. Los Angeles is similar to chongqing in urban form, traffic conditions are grim. The relationship between urban form and transportation development in Los Angeles, public transportation devel-opment, the relationship between motorization and traffic jams, transport policy, transportation planning, etc., can provide the warning for the traffic development of chongqing.
