摘要
作为一所历史悠久的老校,哈佛大学在信息时代受到了前所未有的挑战。不过,哈佛大学基本实现了对前述挑战的积极应对,其诸多改革与创新之举均卓有成效。通过升级图书馆,重新整合了各类数据资源;通过开设并及时升级网络课程,在提升教学效果的同时大幅提升了自身形象,扩展了其影响力;通过在小班教学中引入信息技术,实现了跨国深度专题讨论以及高校与业务部门的良性互动。哈佛的经验对我国高校应对信息时代的机遇和挑战具有重要的借鉴意义。
As a University with long history, Harvard meets many unprecedented challenges in information time. However, Harvard solves all the problems by its active and constant innovations. It reorganizes various kinds of resources by upgrade the libraries. It offers the internet courses and MOOCs which improves its image. It introduces the information technology into small class teaching, which realizes the in-depth discussion between different countries and increases the interaction between theoretical and practice circles. The experience of Harvard has the model significance to Chinese counterparts.
