摘要
对基于掺铒光纤耦合器的全光逻辑门进行了研究。综合考虑了共振非线性效应和克尔非线性效应,通过两输入端口不同的功率组合,在两输出端口得到不同的输出功率,数值计算得到消光比,最后由消光比判定实现逻辑门功能。通过控制泵浦光功率和两个输入信号,实现了不同的逻辑运算功能。研究表明,采用具有光泵浦的掺铒光纤耦合器可以降低开关的阈值功率。
This paper theoretically investigates all-optical logic gates based on an erbium-doped fiber coupler. The coupling mode equations are got from the resonant nonlinearity and the Kerr nonlinearity. Under different power combinations of the two input ports,do the numerical calculation of the output ports power,and can get the extinction ratio. At last,according to the extinction ratio,we can realize different logic gates by controlling the pump power and the two input signals. The studies reveal that the pumped erbium-doped fiber coupler can reduce the switching threshold power.
