Objective:To observe the effectiveness, safety and compliance of non-invasive meridian and collateral exercise in treating chronic venous insufficiency(CVI)of lower extremity. Methods:60 patients of CVI were treated by non-invasive meridian and collateral exercise with a course of three months, then followed up three months later. The clinical symptoms, signs and the medical check score were evaluated before and after treatment, also the follow-up results. Results:56 patients accepted the whole course of treatment,54 cases among of them were followed up,and there were no adverse reactions in treatment process;the comparison of the same cases' s score, the after treatment and the follow-up treatment with the pre-treatment,there was no overlap at 95% CI and showed statistical difference(P0.05)according to α=0.05 level;the comparison of the same cases' s between the after treatment with the pre-treatment and the follow-up pre-treatment with the pre-treatment,there was statistical difference(P0.05)in the symptom scores, the weeks diameter value of ankle and calf, the continuous reflux time of common femoral vein and popliteal vein and the whole blood viscosity(rt200).Conclusion:Non-invasive meridian and collateral exercise in treating chronic venous insufficiency(CVI)of lower extremity has good effectiveness, safety, compliance, and it is easy to learn, strong repeatability, suitable for promotion.
