摘要 Global box office in 2014 hit 37.5 billion USD, with USA accounting tor 27%, China 13%being the second largest film market. But tor China, there is a huge gap between the box office of domestically produced films at home and abroad. In 2014, the total box office of domestic films of China was 18.155 billion USD, among which overseas box ottlce was only 1.87 billion USD. At the same time, the box office of American tllms was 10.3 billion USD at home and 14.6 billion USD abroad, which speaks to the dominance of Hollywood in the global fihn market.
