摘要
雅斯贝尔斯是德国著名的存在主义哲学家和高等教育思想家。他认为大学是一种精神生活的样式,大学是探求真理的共同体,是不同学科的宇宙。大学的职能有三个:研究、传播知识和文化教育。在大学里要有自由的交流以保障大学的理念,大学的理念需要大学制度来实现,因此要建立合理的大学制度。雅斯贝尔斯指出,大学是高等学府,大学教育作为一种精英教育,教授和学生的质量对于大学来说非常重要;同时,大学的生存和发展也离不开国家和社会。
Jaspers is a famous German existentialist philosopher and a thinker of higher education. He believed that university is a kind of spiritual life style, a commtmity to seek the truth and the universe of different disciplines. It has three major functions： research, spreading knowledge and cultural education. The university should have freedom of communication in order to protect the idea of a university, which needs the university system to achieve. Therefore, we should establish a reasonable system of university. Jaspers pointed out that university is an institution of higher education. As a kind of elite education, the quality of students and professors are very important for university. At the same time, the sarvival and development of the university is inseparable from the state and society.
